Courtney Mullins

Courtney Mullins has been a school based Speech-Language Pathologist  for 20 years where she serves a variety of students including those with language impairment, developmental delays, and autism.

Courtney attended the University of Central Florida for her Bachelor’s Degree and Nova Southeastern University for her Master’s Degree. Courtney has been recognized as Seminole County’s “SLP of the Year,” as well as being recognized by her peers and administration as a six-time recipient of the “Special Speechie” award. Courtney is a member of ASHA and a licensed SLP in the state of Florida.

Her additional experience extends to working in private settings and skilled nursing facilities, presenting at major national conferences, hosting webinars for large amounts of audiences and as a Courtesy Faculty Member at The University of Florida. 

Her main interests are in assistive technology and integrating technology into therapy settings. She has presented at previous conferences on topics concerning secondary language therapy, sensory impairment in therapy, and implementing and using iPads as a therapy tool to enhance achievement in high school language therapy. Courtney’s article about speech development for parents was published in a parental advice magazine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
